Funny
Cats
Funny cats have been amusing owners for centuries.
From the classic Garfield comic books of the 1980s to current-day
YouTube videos, funny cats are a genre all to themselves. Humans
seem to derive much gut-busting pleasure from the personification
of the feline subspecies.
You can find funny cat posters, wallpaper for your computer, animations,
key chains, books and movies.
Just about everything under the sun is available for a person's
obsession with our furry feline friends acting like humans, talking
like humans, singing like humans or just plain caught-on-camera
documentation of the funny things cats do every day.
It doesn't take a whole lot of searching to find funny
cats that are entertaining to while away the hours procrastinating
instead of attending to the real work you have to do. You can find
funny cats that DJ, funny cats that dress like humans, funny kittens
chasing dogs, cats holding shotguns or funny cats giving mental
therapy.
The sky is the limit when it comes to the imagination where cat
humor is concerned. If only felines could read, they would know
they were being made fools of all over the world, on television,
in films and in print.

Maybe the phenomenon of the funny cat has something to do with
the inherent aloof nature of the animal itself. A feline will not
necessarily come when called. It will often ignore you or disappear
for a night or two or pretend you don't exist until feeding time.
On the other hand, a kitty will wait until you are sleeping to
creep up on you, knead the hair on your head or sit directly on
your face, not so subtly telling you it's time to wake up and feed
them. A funny cat will surprise you in myriad ways that you never
thought possible and keep you on your toes. This is one of the joys
of pet ownership and if you don't like it, get a dog, because your
cat's behavior will never change.

The fly! The fly! I must get the fly!

It's a proven scientific fact that feline owners live a longer
life, experience fewer heart attacks and suffer from stress less
than their non-cat owning counterparts. Perhaps it's the antics
of the funny cat that keep us laughing and loving them, reducing
our need to move quickly in this fast-paced world and just behave
more like a kitty. Sleep. Eat. Relax. Play. Explore. Sounds like
a pretty good life, doesn't it?
Ask any content pet owner about the joys of funny cats and you're
due for a long-winded diatribe consisting of detailed stories of
current and previously owned pets. If you ask for a funny story,
you are sure to get several of them. And, you may even have a humorous
gem or two of your own?
